Spontaneous Combustion Eyed in Fire at Waste Facility in Epping, NH

    Spontaneous combustion is being eyed as the cause of a fire at a waste facility.

    "It's really hot...That heat builds up inside a mulch pile," Epping Assistant Fire Chief Joe Lombardo told WMUR.

    Tankers shuttled water to the site as firefighters had no access to the town's supply.

    There were no injuries reported despite the high temperatures.
